Background: TMEM127 encodes for a ubiquitously expressed transmembrane protein with limited knowledge into its role. TMEM127 germline loss-of-function is a driver of pheochromocytoma and paraganglioma (PPGLs), tumors derived from the adrenal medulla and extra-adrenal paraganglia, respectively.
